Yutnori Rules

Yutnori is the classic Korean family game played on holidays. The dice-like luck of the sticks blends with route choices and capture decisions for a short, dynamic match.

29-space yut board (20 outer + 9 inner shortcut spaces), 4 yut sticks, 4 tokens per player.

• Do (1) — 1 stick belly-up.
• Gae (2) — 2 sticks belly-up.
• Geol (3) — 3 sticks belly-up.
• Yut (4 + bonus throw) — All 4 sticks belly-up. Throw again.
• Mo (5 + bonus throw) — All 4 sticks back-up. Throw again.

• Capture — Landing on an opponent's token returns it to start and grants you an extra throw.
• Stack — Landing on your own token stacks them; they move together. If captured later, both go home together.
• Shortcut — Stopping exactly on a corner (5 / 10) or center grants a diagonal shortcut on your next move.

First player to bring all 4 of their tokens off the board wins.
