Timeline Rules

One-minute rules with surprisingly deep guessing. Even when you don't know the exact year, comparing it to the cards already on the table is enough to narrow it down. Great for families, classrooms, and casual parties.

• Shuffle the deck (event names visible, years hidden).
• Deal hands by player count (5/4/3 for 2–3 / 4–5 / 6–8 players).
• Reveal one card to seed the timeline.

1. Pick a card from your hand, then click one of the N+1 slots on the timeline.
2. Comparing its year to its neighbors — ≥ left and ≤ right means correct.
3. Wrong placements discard the card and draw a replacement from the deck.
4. The next player goes regardless of whether you were correct.

There are no points. At end of game, smaller hand is better:

• Reaching 0 cards on your turn = instant solo win.
• If the deck runs out, the player with the fewest cards in hand wins (ties OK).

If your placement is correct AND empties your hand, you win immediately.

• When you don't know the year, anchor against big eras (pre/post-Industrial Revolution, pre/post-WW2).
• Tough cards get riskier the longer you hold them — play them when a safe slot opens up.
• Mix of Korean / world / science / pop culture — try unfamiliar topics early to draw replacements.
