Number Tiles Rules

A classic tile game where you build runs (consecutive numbers) and groups (same number) to empty your rack. Because tiles already on the table can be rearranged, every turn opens new possibilities.

• Numbered tiles 1-13 in 4 colors × 2 sets = 104 tiles
• 2 jokers (can stand in for any number or color)
• One rack per player

• Run: 3 or more consecutive numbers in the same color, e.g. red 5-6-7. Runs do not wrap from 13 to 1.
• Group: The same number in 3 or 4 different colors, e.g. red, blue and black 7.

Your first meld of the game must be made entirely from your own tiles and total at least 30 points. You cannot combine with existing table sets or rearrange them on this turn. From your next turn on, free rearrangement is allowed.

A joker can stand for any number and color. When you replace it with the actual tile in a valid set, you may take the joker back and use it again.

The first player to empty their rack wins the round. Each opponent scores negative points equal to the sum of tiles left on their rack, and the round winner gains the same total as positive points.
