For Sale Rules

A two-phase auction game: phase one is buying properties at auction, phase two is reselling them via blind bid. Hoard your coins and you cannot buy good properties; spend too much and you lose the selling phase.

• Each round reveal N property cards (one per player).
• Bid: raise the current high bid using coins from your reserve.
• Pass: take back half of your current bet (rounded up) and pick up the lowest remaining property card.
• When only one bidder remains they pay the full bid and take the highest property; the round ends.
• Repeat until every property has been distributed.

• Each round reveal N check cards.
• All players simultaneously play one property face down, then reveal together.
• Highest property claims the highest check, second highest claims the second, and so on.
• Keep the check values as money for the final score.
• Repeat until all checks are exhausted.

Add remaining coins to the values of checks you collected — the highest total wins. Securing pricey properties in phase one means little if no big checks appear in phase two: managing resources across phases is the heart of the game.
